Guess it's about time to keep up with the changing times. As part of my coursework in a module called Digital Media Across Asia (DMA), I'm pushing myself to dive right into the bells and whistles of Web 2.0. We'll see whether I survive after 15 weeks.
Just a quick introduction, I'm a budding social entrepreneur and public speaking & business presentation enthusiast. Very obviously I will be writing about these two areas of interest, hopefully I can share my enthusiasm and knowledge with anyone who's interested.
Alright, for today, a quick trip down memory lane. (sort of.)
Before I officially signed up for this module DMA, I heard that I would have to maintain a blog of sorts. To make things interesting, I started thinking about what I could possibly write about. One day, it hit me! I should maintain a review blog! I've been reading review websites for the longest time now and I figured it would generate some interest. But the bigger question was - what to review?
Get-Rich-Quick Schemes!
When I was younger, I went through a phase where I was obsessed with getting rich quick. I stumbled upon several "get-rich-quick" ideas but all of them needed some initial monetary investment. After much deliberation, I made a purchase at a "paid surveys" website promising $10,000 monthly income working from home.
Several months later and not any richer, I realised that I probably made some person really happy by parting with my money. Therein lies my inspiration, to help uncover the truth behind these "make $xxx in 7 days!"-type claims.
Unfortunately, I probably can't devote enough time to do it on a regular basis, but if anyone is interested, let me know! Maybe we can work something out =)
